Pricing
Our buffets start at $4 per serving. The basic package includes:
- Candy (number of varieties as outlined below) 5 lbs each
- Set-up
- Tear-down
- Rental of containers & serving utensils
- Linens (you may provide your own, if desired)
- Decorative fabric table topper (you may again provide)
- Plain white paper goody bags (you may select an upgrade)
- Custom candy container labels or menu
- Leftover candy is yours to keep!
Our minimum number of servings is 50. We may be able to service a smaller party, but a surcharge will apply.
For a guest list of 50-100 people, you will have 4-5 different types of candy*. This includes one chocolate selection from our list.
A guest list of 101-200 people will have a buffet of 6-7 types of candy, including one chocolate selection from our list.
Celebrations including 201-300 guests will receive 8-9 types of candy in their buffet. You will be able to choose two chocolate options from our list.
Guest lists of 301 guests and up will have 10-11 types of candy, including the selection of two chocolates from our list.
*Each buffet display will include a minimum of five containers. Some candy may be duplicated to achieve the desired visual effect.

*Please note that some venues require the buffet to be staffed by a professional throughout the event. You will need to check on this or consult with us before making a final decision on buffet staffing.
Travel
We are located in Portland, OR. Our standard service area includes the Portland & Metro area. We welcome events outside this area, but a travel charge of $.50 per mile beyond our standard area will be charged in addition to your buffet cost.
The map below approximates our standard service area (pink) and extended area (grey). An event located within dark pink circle will incur no travel charge. Events located more than two hours drive time from Portland may also require you to provide overnight accommodations, depending on the end-time of your event. Please feel free to inquire if you have specific questions relating to the location of your event and travel charges.
FAQ

Q: I can buy candy – why shouldn’t I just do-it-myself?
A: Because there is far more involved in assembling a candy buffet than you may first realize. You will need to buy candy in very large quantities – often at high retail prices. You will also have to purchase a variety of large glassware, easily spending $100+ on containers you will have no use for after the event. Then, you will have to make sure someone is available to set it up and tear it down for you. Additionally, you’ll need to come up with labels or a candy menu and take-away bags or boxes to complete the display. Finally, some venues will not permit customer-provided food.
Q: How much candy can I expect to receive per guest?
A: The standard serving-size is 4-6oz. We will provide ample candy to allow your guests to enjoy the display, and prevent it from looking depleted too quickly. And remember – you get to keep the leftovers!
Q: Can I consider this my favor to my guests?
A: Absolutely! Guests love a consumable favor, and this one is interactive. Not only will your guests enjoy selecting their favorites, they will have the opportunity to further mix and mingle with each other. They can enjoy some at the party, and then take some home for later. A perfect combination.
Q: Can I provide some of my own candy?
A: No. For food service and sanitation reasons, we cannot allow you to supply any of your own candy. However, if there is a specific candy you want to include, please tell us, and we’ll do our best to work it into the display for you!
Q: If I provide the linens, will I receive a discount?
A: Absolutely, Yes. Our package is built to include the linens, and there is a separate charge that can be deducted. We are happy to supply coordinating linens, or work with those you provide.
Q: Why is there a limit on how much chocolate I can select?
A: Because chocolate is more costly, we limit its use in our buffets to keep the base serving price lower for you. Should you wish to have more chocolate – or even a buffet made up of only chocolate – we can do that. It will simply require a custom price quotation.
Q: Can you do anything other than candy?
A: Definitely. We are happy to provide cotton candy, candy kabobs,cake pops, cupcakes or mini cupcakes, flavored popcorns, savory items such as nuts or crackers… just let us know what you have in mind.
Q: Can you do a Kosher buffet?
A: Absolutely. 99% of our total product offered are certified Kosher, and we will be happy to build your display honoring that requirement 100%.
Q: Can you do a zero waste event?
A: Absolutely. Many of our bags and utensils are 100% compost-able and made of recycled materials.
Q: Can you accommodate other dietary restrictions?
A: In many cases, yes. We love vegan candy or gluten free Bars.

Q: My event isn’t in PDX – will you travel there?
A: Yes, we do travel. Our standard service area is quite large, encompassing the entire Portland Metro area, plus quite a bit more. We have a map that displays our standard area on our price guide above. If your event falls outside that area, you will incur a travel charge.
